Kevin Paro

Managing Partner
(860) 703-9500

Kevin founded Paro Advisory to change the way people experience wealth. He leads the practice's planning philosophy and sits at the center of every client’s strategy, from the first conversation about what they are actually building toward, through the plan that works toward getting them there. His work is guided by a simple standard: prepare the life first, then plan the wealth around it.

He became a financial advisor because of his mother. Kevin moved back to Connecticut from Virginia while his parents were going through a divorce, and he sat beside her with a life insurance agent before he had a single credential to his name. He decided then to learn everything he could about money so he could be there for her. He has walked with her through every chapter since: retirement planning, Social Security, Medicare. When he is weighing a recommendation for a client, he still asks himself what he would want his mom to do in the same situation.

Kevin began his career in insurance and financial services in 2007 and has built a broad knowledge across the industry. He holds the FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 registrations through Commonwealth Financial Network®, along with insurance licenses in property and casualty and in life, accident, and health.

Kevin grew up in Connecticut and now splits his time between the firm’s Farmington and Bonita Springs offices. He serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors for My Kind Karma and sits on the advisory board of The Salvation Army Naples. His free time goes to family and friends, cars and Formula 1, and music. He plays guitar and rarely turns down a concert. Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, and Led Zeppelin are on heavy rotation.

John McCann

Associate Advisor
(860) 703-9500

John works directly with clients on the day-to-day substance of their planning: preparing the analysis behind recommendations, running the numbers on retirement income and tax scenarios, and staying close to families between reviews. He has worked alongside Kevin for nearly nine years.

Service has always been the through line for him. Watching family members build careers in public service shaped how he thinks about the work: get the details right, because someone is counting on them. He holds the FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations through Commonwealth Financial Network® and has been licensed in life insurance for six years. John earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Trinity College.

John played lacrosse at Trinity and still plays at the club level. He spends as much time outdoors as he can, summers at the beach and winters skiing, and he walks his dogs Malu and Moby year-round. When he is inside, he is usually reading or listening to music.

Matt Fojtik

Operations Associate
(860) 703-9500

Matt supports the client experience across meeting preparation and assisting our advisors with portfolio review work, including the non-qualified account reviews that inform our investment recommendations. Clients are likely to meet him in the office, and his work sits behind much of what they see in a review meeting.

Matt has been part of our team for four years. He is entering his senior year at Elon University, where he is studying finance.

Outside the office, Matt is a car guy, which fits in well around here.

Caitleen Allen

Director of Operations and Client Services
(860) 703-9500

Caitleen leads client service and operations at Paro Advisory. She is the person clients hear from between meetings, and the reason nothing in a plan goes quietly untouched: onboarding, account transitions, follow-up commitments, and the annual review rhythm all run through her.

She came to financial services from a luxury client-facing environment, where she advanced into management, and then led operations and process automation at a marketing firm. That combination is valuable and deliberate. She understands what it feels like to be a client at the highest standard of service, and she knows how to build the systems that deliver it consistently.

Outside the office, Caitleen stays active through the gym, tennis, and volleyball, and she spends her free time traveling and reading.
