Kevin Paro
Kevin founded Paro Advisory to change the way people experience wealth. He leads the practice's planning philosophy and sits at the center of every client’s strategy, from the first conversation about what they are actually building toward, through the plan that works toward getting them there. His work is guided by a simple standard: prepare the life first, then plan the wealth around it.
He became a financial advisor because of his mother. Kevin moved back to Connecticut from Virginia while his parents were going through a divorce, and he sat beside her with a life insurance agent before he had a single credential to his name. He decided then to learn everything he could about money so he could be there for her. He has walked with her through every chapter since: retirement planning, Social Security, Medicare. When he is weighing a recommendation for a client, he still asks himself what he would want his mom to do in the same situation.
Kevin began his career in insurance and financial services in 2007 and has built a broad knowledge across the industry. He holds the FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 registrations through Commonwealth Financial Network®, along with insurance licenses in property and casualty and in life, accident, and health.
Kevin grew up in Connecticut and now splits his time between the firm’s Farmington and Bonita Springs offices. He serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors for My Kind Karma and sits on the advisory board of The Salvation Army Naples. His free time goes to family and friends, cars and Formula 1, and music. He plays guitar and rarely turns down a concert. Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, and Led Zeppelin are on heavy rotation.
